Basi Prize is a competition for contemporary art open to all Italian and foreign artists who are at least 18 years of age, without distinction or reference of a curriculum, and combining art and territory, tradition and innovation, past and present.
The aim of the award is to give visibility to contemporary art through the territory and to promote the area through visual art, in order to allow the artists to interact with places and their memory through a theme selected each year by the staff of the contest.
Through the work of art, Basi Prize aims to activate a new conscious presence of pubblic inside the appointed places, giving a new life to places, stimulating a new vision and use of space in the community.
